Manufacturing Tolerances

Custom-cut seats and cushions have dimensional tolerances according to the "Custom-Cut Cushions" section of our Dimensional Tolerances table. If your project requires a tighter tolerance, Contact Us for more information about machine cut custom items.

Largest Solid Sheet

The largest solid size available is 76" x 82". When any one piece of foam is ordered larger than that, it will be sent as SEPARATE UN-GLUED PIECES. We will NOT glue the foam together. If you wish to join the pieces yourself, spay adhesive is available for purchase. View our spray adhesive options.

Years ago, 2010, I bought a queen size blue foam mattress from Foam Factory than I dearly love still today. So I was disappointed to find that the SuperMax I bought to repair my truck seat has the same density/as the LuxHQ. I still love foam facory. I just wish you offered sales in thicker slabs.

I bought some IKEA arm chairs on close out. The cushions they sold to go with these chairs were unavailable, so I bought the foam and some fabric and made my own. They are so comfortable! They are firm, but we are using these as dining chairs, so they are perfect for that. I’ve ordered a few times from the Foam Factory and have always been very impressed.

Super Max Foam - excellent quality but too firm for persons of little mass. If you need a durable cushion that will not compress, this is the product for you. I cut the cushions to half height and they are still plenty firm!
