Manufacturing Tolerances
Products may carry a size tolerance depending on the style and job. Please see our Tolerance Table.
Standard Sheet Sizes/Quality
Standard sheets of foam are cut slightly larger than the listed size to compensate for shrinkage during packaging, transit, and delivery. Sheets may contain rough edges. Any yellowing/discoloration of the foam is a byproduct of exposure to air and light and does not represent a flaw, damage, or defect in the material.

SO much better after replacing the foam! No longer sink into the couch ( a high quality standard pull out sleeper, but cushions were no longer supportive: NO reason to toss an entire couch when foam replacement is an option. Very pleased with the outcome for ~$80 and some DIY time ( careful measuring and cutting)/ would order this again

I’ve purchased 5 inch HQ foam on two different occasions for our sofas. I’ve also been impressed with how quick they arrived within a week after placing the order. The second order of foam was identical to the first one placed two or three years earlier.

I looked at several sites to purchase new foam for my 8 year old sofa. One site offered cut to size - but when I got the price quote it was 4X more than buying a full piece from here. Very happy with my purchase and the delivery was faster that expected. I will buy again. I will recommend.

I needed a good dense foam for a custom upholstery project, and not having ordered from here before knew it may be a risk. The foam arrived quickly, was large enough in one sheet for my project (I ordered a large sheet), was easy to cut with an electric knife, and did just what I needed it to.

High quality, high density foam perfect for my sailboat’s v-berth and aft berth. I got 5” thick which has been very comfortable for sleeping on. There is no lingering smell after opening and it sprung out to its original dimensions within minutes. Also pretty easy to cut with a serrated knife if you don’t need a perfect edge. It’s more durable than I expected and should last plenty long for the price. I appreciate that customer service reached out to confirm the sizes I ordered since a “Full” sheet of foam and “Full” mattress cover are not the same dimensions. I’ll be back for my next foam project!

This Redditor gives you a 5+ stars, 5" thick foam on top of a fairly tall back pit sectional couch that still looked great but had sagging points, with a little manual structural improvement underneath, made this couch feel amazing again! I'd custom order a full sheet cut down next time, but the half sheet works just peachy.

I have now bought a lot of products from the Foam Factory and I am very happy with all of them. I recently purchased 1/3 sheet of the HD36, 6" for a cot mattress. I also purchased the same, in 3" of the super soft foam to use on top. I have a niece who lives in Chicago and I needed a comfy place for her to stay when she visits. She's petite and the cot was her idea, now she has her own space in my office when she visits. She says the foams are more comfortable than her Purple mattress at home! Highly recommend foam factory!!

I spent a lot of time researching online and this measured up best as far as a number of criteria that mattered to me. Then the customer service was superior to any other. Finally the actual product was far better than i hoped for. I have a Lux foam for a wide home made couch also use daily as a bed and it's been the best , most comfortable and firm enough and wonderful to sleep or sit on that i ever had. Where i had spinal fractures it was especially important to have good and also comfortable support. This did it and helped my spine heal better too. Now i am going to get one for bed and car cushions.

Excellent quality for RV dinette seat cushion. Cut fairly easily with Boxcutter blade and straightedge. Dense and comfortable. Smell went away after airing for 24 hours. Well worth it.

I purchased some of this foam to replace the seat cushions in a couple of nice couches that we have had for 15+ years as the fabric and frame were still in very good condition. I purchased 5 inch thick foam and double wrapped it in Dacron, as this is how the previous cushions were manufactured. I was concerned that this foam would be too soft. The new cushions are very supportive and they are neither hard as a rock, or too soft. The couches are again comfortable to sit on or lay on. Thanks Foam Factory!
