Manufacturing Tolerances
Products may carry a size tolerance depending on the style and job. Please see our Tolerance Table.

Standard Sheet Sizes
Standard sheets of foam are cut slightly larger than the listed size to compensate for shrinkage during packaging, transit, and delivery. Sheets may contain rough edges or smooth skin.

Polyethylene Thickness
Sheets thicker than 1/2" are made from 1/2" sheets laminated together. 2" Polyethylene may range in thickness from 2" to 2-1/4".

Shipping 2" Polyethylene
2" x 48" x 108" and 2" x 24" x 108" sheets will be cut down to 54" x 24" sheets for shipping purposes.

Great foam!

I am really enjoying using this foam for making puppets. It is easy to cut and much more durable than the upholstery foam I used previously. I mostly use the 2 inch, and I appreciate that it has fewer layers laminated together than another brand. It is easy to adhere with Super 77 or Foam Fast 74 spray. It is hard to find 1.2 lb density foam, so I’m quite grateful to find this. It is priced well, too.

I used this material to line ool box drawers in 3 layers with shape of tools cut out in top 2 layers, and sticking them together with 3M #77 spray adhesive.
