Features

This spray adhesive is suggested for use with open-cell foams and closed-cell foams. 3M Super 77 is commonly used for custom packaging, arts and crafts, cushions, and mounting acoustic foam.

Do not use 3M Super 77 when gluing Polystyrene materials. The chemical structure of this adhesive melts the foam. As an alternative, Camie 373 can be used.

Resources Notes

IMPORTANT: Concrete/Cinderblock Surfaces
Spray adhesive is ineffective at bonding foam to painted or bare concrete or cinderblock walls. For permanently adhering foam directly to these surfaces, heavy-duty construction adhesive is suggested. Note that this will damage the foam and leave residue on the wall if removed. For non-permanent installation, we suggest mounting the foam to a substrate, such as plywood or sturdy cardboard, and hanging the mounted tile(s). Our spray adhesives may be used to form the foam-to-substrate bond.

This product stays flexible and when used with cushions you don't feel it. Be careful when applying it is very sticky so watch overspray!

Great product! If you cannot adhere foam with this product I would suggest you use staples.
Good for bonding foam & Dacron

I have used both this 3M adhesive and the Cami brand. Both are very good at adhering foam to foam and Dacron to foam. I have less over spray with this 3M product. Since that is an important benefit, it is worth the extra cost to me.
Not worth the investment

I like the option that it is mess free, but product does not stick well, the foam continually falls off the ceiling which is wooden.
