Manufacturing Tolerances
Products may carry a size tolerance and physical property tolerance depending on the style and job. Please see our Tolerance Table.

Standard Sheet Sizes
Standard sheets of foam are cut slightly larger than the listed size to compensate for shrinkage during packaging, transit, and delivery. Sheets may contain rough edges or smooth skin.

Polyethylene Thickness
Sheets thicker than 1/2" are made from 1/2" sheets laminated together. 2" Polyethylene may range in thickness from 2" to 2-1/4".

Shipping 2" Polyethylene
2" x 48" x 108" and 2" x 24" x 108" sheets will be cut down to 54" x 24" sheets for shipping purposes.

Anti-Static Foam Color
Anti-Static foam may vary in color from light pink/peach to deep pink.

The Foam Factory, Inc.. products and service was as delivered. Anti-Static Polyethylene Foam - 1.7LB Pink 1/2" Full Sheet 108" x 48" (Qty.: 2) I got two sheets of this material for packing lenses and camera gear for carry and transport in vehicles. I used it to line the sidewalls and bottom of two 48" X 15" X 8" drawers in my Toyota FJ. I used additional foam for lining the walls and lid of a Delta airline travel case. I also used it to make a traveling backpack with compartments for camera, lenses, and gear. I will also use it to provide additional padding for my computer, Monitor, and MIDI keyboard while traveling. The product cuts very well with just utility knife and a straight edge ruler. 3M Spray (Super 88 or above) works very well at attaching it to wood and other surfaces. I drove over 32 hours (highway). with all the equipment in the FJ from Texas to Florida and back with no issues, heating, or problems with static or damages. I rate this purchase a top 10 stars. The delivery was on time and as expected. I unrolled the material flat and added weights to the corners and mid section to straighten it out. No issues there. Very easy to work with. I understand the packaging requirements and was able to work freely with that understanding. Thank you!

We calibrate delicate instruments and needed to fabricate and anti-static road case for this equipment. This foam is a good thick dense foam, perfect for making inserts. Foam shipped in a large box, with (2) sheets side by side for our order. Foam cuts very easily, but is dense enough to stand on.
