For a foam solution that is soft to the touch yet still offers incredible durability, our Volara Type 4EO foam is the perfect solution. This EVA copolymer foam is ideal for use in medical devices and applications designed for skin contact thanks to the overall nature of the material. In addition to these applications, Volara Type 4EO foam contains FDA compliant materials. This fact alone makes this product acceptable for food contact further expanding the possible applications of this versatile solution. Another great feature of this foam type is that this product will thermoform and can be compression molded for even more versatility. Our high-quality Volara Type 4EO foam can also be utilized as a substrate for double-sided foam tape applications.
Volara Type 4EO's technical name is irradiation cross-linked polyolefin ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) foam.

Manufacturing Tolerances
Products may carry a size tolerance depending on the style and job. Please see our Tolerance Table.
Standard Sheet Sizes
Standard sheets of foam are cut slightly larger than the listed size to compensate for shrinkage during packaging, transit, and delivery. Sheets may contain rough edges.
Volara Thickness
The 1/2" thickness is made from two 1/4" layers laminated together.
Shipping 50ft 1/4" Roll
The 50 foot 1/4" roll may be split into two rolls of 25 feet for shipping purposes depending on your location.
