2lb DENSITY EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE (EPS)
Also a lightweight foam, 2lb EPS can be used for countless craft projects, and its easy to work with. 2lb EPS is most commonly used in Hot Tub covers because of it's unique closed-cell structure allows almost total resistance from moisture & water vapor and will not rot or attract fungi or mildew. Also, EPS has a superior R-value, so it will insulate and keep heat inside your Hot Tub.
NOTE: PLEASE, test paints and glues before using them with all Polystyrene products. (Paints with rust inhibitor and glues with a high solvent content may melt Polystyrene.)
